Ella Langley continues to hold the top spot with Choosin’ Texas, which has now spent 17 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The latest chart update places the country hit alone in fourth place among the longest-running No. 1 songs in the chart’s history.
The new ranking also shows Ariana Grande with two songs inside the top five, adding another major presence near the top of the U.S. singles chart. Langley’s extended run, meanwhile, continues a crossover story that has carried a traditional-leaning country song far beyond the genre’s usual audience.
Choosin’ Texas was released in October 2025 and was written by Langley with Luke Dick, Miranda Lambert and Joybeth Taylor. The song tells the story of a relationship ending as the narrator realizes her partner’s heart remains tied to Texas.
Its continued chart strength has made the track one of the defining country-pop crossover successes of 2026, while giving Langley her biggest mainstream hit to date.
